SLR is going to Minneapolis! S and the parents are heading out today to visit L in her new city. The plan is to drink wine, laugh, enjoy each other's company, listen to Christmas music (24/7), and go Christmas shopping in one of the famous Minneapolis area malls. I am so excited to see Minneapolis for the first time!
Also thrilled to be seeing a few of my favorites (though we will be missing the brother dearly)...

S & L are enjoying the weekend together, and couldn't be happier. We are here to celebrate L's big accomplishment- she's graduating from the University of Michigan! The brilliant chica is going to be recognized today for her honors status in both communications and women's studies! Congrats to L on being so amazing.

My printmaking art show was yesterday. This was my most creative semester, and I loved being able to spend time in a studio and play with ideas, turning them into artwork. My stuff is without a doubt the least artistic of the class, but what's the point of life if you don't throw yourself out there and try new things? At least that's how I'm justifying it :)
Last weekend, we were able to play together with our family in Ann Arbor, MI. We came across this amazing photo location. We took some time to test out S's new Nikon in the alley filled with graffiti.

Do you remember sitting down on Friday nights from 8pm-10pm to watch your favorite shows that came on for those blissful two hours at the end of each week? Where you could forget your own worries, because there were other school bullies, budding romances, and hilarious comedies on TV to distract you? Oh yes, my friends, I'm talking about ABC's friday night series TGIF.

Oh gosh... I totally forgot about Teen Angel- the one where the boy eats a really really old burger and obviously dies from it? Then tags along in another teen boy's life as a guardian angel. Might I add that although he had to deal with classic guardian angel rules (invisible to most except his "person"), he dressed himself in clothes and makeup to be visible to humans just to make out with some girl? Classic. To get your Friday started out right... why not watch it for yourself? What would life be without the glory of YouTube to bring us back to the great shows of the 90's?

I hate packing. This is what my bed currently looks like. I'm going to Chicago today to visit Stephanie, Ryan, and both of our families (and meeting Ryan's new baby niece!). But like always, the packing is not going well. The problem for me is pre-picking out what to wear. What if I don't want to wear what I packed? What if I don't fit the occasion? These are not big issues, but I find this stressful for some reason.
So for our upcoming trip to the Mediterranean (!!! Only 2.5 months away!!), I am starting EARLY. This is because: 1. between Jason Wu for Target, H&M's fabulous spring line, and my need to online shop as distraction from work, I can't help but plan my outfits, and 2. it's just going to take that long.
