Oh my goodness. The puppy. She had a big external tumor on her leg that she had to have removed, and it instead got replaced with this big scary drainage tube wrapped up in this cast. The poor thing. She's just been curling up and sticking her leg out.
So today we took her to the doctors to get her cast off - to be replaced by her new inner tube (an alternative to a cone, evidently).
^she wouldn't hold still.
Then she totally conked out in my lap on the way home, wrapped in a little blanket, because she was so tired from all the anxiety-inducing events of the week.
Happy birthday, Amber, and sorry for the crummy timing this year. Next year, we promise no more scary doctor offices and pain meds and inner tubes meant for land (as long as you're good and don't get sick anymore).
